CHILCUAGUE

Chilcuague, also known as the Aztec Golden Root (Heliopsis longipes), has been used in Mexican traditions for generations. Its roots are known for a distinctive tingling sensation on the tongue and gums. This collection gathers our Chilcuague tinctures, oil and paste, from the Sierra Gorda in Mexico.

TINCTURE
The root extract in a spray bottle, 20 ml. Choose between the pure tincture, the version with mint and the one with propolis. All are made from Chilcuague roots grown in the Sierra Gorda, and a simple way to get to know the distinctive tingling of the Aztec Golden Root.

PASTE
A concentrated paste made from the Chilcuague root, kept in a small jar. A different texture for those who prefer something denser than a spray.

FROM THE SIERRA GORDA

Our Chilcuague comes from Raíz Selvas, a project in the Sierra Gorda in Mexico. Raíz Selvas works on reforestation and protects the local water basin, so that the plant can keep growing in its natural environment.

The roots are grown in the Sierra Gorda, harvested by hand and dried by local farmers. From these roots we offer tinctures, a root paste and an oil.

OIL
Chilcuague root extract in avocado oil, in a 5 ml dropper bottle. Small and easy to carry with you.
