Alcohol-Free with a Wide Range of Solubilized Compounds
In DMSO plant extracts, DMSO is used as the extraction medium instead of alcohol. Only pharmaceutical-grade DMSO is used. The DMSO plant extract is alcohol-free and contains 0.0% alcohol. Using DMSO as an extraction medium also offers additional benefits. It has a higher solubility capacity, meaning more active compounds are extracted than with alcohol-based tinctures. It also dissolves individual compounds more completely. As a result, a significantly lower recommended intake is sufficient. DMSO stands for Dimethyl Sulfoxide. DMSO plant extracts are also referred to as DMSO tinctures. To avoid confusion, the Urdrogerie brand uses the term“DMSO Plant Extract.”
