Preparation for the ceremony

Please do not eat at least 4h prior to the session. Do not use alcohol or stimulants in the previous 48h (coffee and black tea are also not recommended). Suggested also not to smoke.

Please bring:

-a clear intention. Tobacco, Rapeh, transport our intentions and prayers to the great Spirit. It is very important step to be aware of this and take care of it

-a yoga mat or sitting pillow

-a small bucket or a big cup (otherwise a plastic bag will be provided ),

-a warm blanket.

-a thermos with tea or water

Music instruments are very welcome.

About the Ceremony

The powerful prayer of Tobacco.

A circle to dive deep together into the medicine of Rapeh and music. To find peace of mind, clarity and focus on our present state of being. To release what we do not need for our Life. Medicine, Spirit and music from the Forest.

Why to come to a ritual with the plant of Tobacco?

Tobacco is the plant spirit that in the understanding of indigenous people from different parts of the world connect us with our intention, with our purposes in life, the plant medicine which is considered as bridge between the sky and the earth.

The source of the medicine of Rapeh is the Amazon forest, it comes from there cause the people there were able to keep their ancestral roots connected with the plants of their region and with their healing powers.

In Every corner of this Earth we can find help, tools to reconnect with ourselves, to remember our origin of indigenous people of the land where we are born. The rapeh is one of these tools, since centuries used in those lands.

Rapeh is a alchemic mixture of tobacco and the ashes of trees sacred for certain indigenous communities that have developed ancestral relationships with these plants, and that in the process of creation of this medicine spend several days to deliver it from its raw ingredients to the final powder.

The rapeh applied through the nose, allows this alchemic solution to reach the depth of our being, the various layers of our phisical body, releasing phisical blockages on the way, cleansing our system from what it is not needed, its beneficial properties, that can come with strong phisical sensations at first, bring slowly calmness and clarity to the mind. 

We feel grounded, rooted, at peace with the present moment.

During the ceremony, the  music, the chantings that come with the application of the Rapeh hold us through the process, helping to stay focus, as we sink even deeper in the communication between us and our higher self.

Rapeh it is a medicine for the moment where we feel lost, confused, stressed, emotionally and mentally tired, where we are in need for guidance or stability.

Receiving and sharing this medicine from this place of connection and deep rooted concentration give us the possibility to pray in full presence for our life, for our health for our dreams, individually and collectively, trascending separation.

Filippo, who lives with his wife and children on the island of Corfu since 2019, has begun his studies in traditional medicine in 2014 and he is initiated to the medicine of Rapeh since 2016 first in the Forest of North Brazil through initiations and diets with this medicine held by traditional doctors.
